Essentials Of Human Anatomy And Physiology

Essentials Of Human Anatomy And Physiology

When a person goes to the doctor or hospital they will notice they have advanced knowledge of the body, but they still should be aware of the importance of knowing the essentials of human anatomy and physiology to understand what is being told to them. When they know about this information, it will be simple for them to understand what is being told to them and not have to worry about misunderstanding the information that is presented to them. Without having this basic working knowledge, it will be easy for people to look at the information wrongly.

Essentials Of Human Anatomy And Physiology

One reason that people will want to learn about the essentials of human anatomy and physiology, is it will teach them about what is going on in their body. When they have this knowledge it should lead to them being able to know what is wrong with their body. Then they will have the best option of if they actually need to go out and have the care that is needed. Without knowing about that, it could lead to people going to the doctor for an injury that does not particularly warrant the visit.

Something else that can be found in the essentials of human anatomy and physiology is the fact that people will learn how they can strengthen certain aspects of their body. Now many people that are lifting weights will not think about this, but they will learn that if they know how the muscles work it will lead to them being able to have the better workout. Then they will be able to concentrate on the specific workout that will work best on building those specific groups up.

Then people will have to visit the doctor to have the proper treatment for the injuries that they can have happen to them and that could lead to a higher cost in the medical bills they have, which could make the hobby that they have to expensive to carry out.

Essentials Of Human Anatomy And Physiology – Conclusion

Being injured and having to go see a doctor can be a scary time for numerous people. However, if the person has a working knowledge on some of the body parts, it will be easy for them to see just how important this is. That is when they should know about the importance of learning about the body. Without knowing on the importance of the essentials of human anatomy and physiology it will be nearly impossible for some people to understand what exactly is going on with their body at any given point in time.

Atlas Of Human Anatomy

Atlas Of Human Anatomy

An atlas of human anatomy is more common than people may think. An atlas is a series of maps, often bound together in a book. What many people think of when they consider an atlas is an atlas of the earth, other planets, or even regions of countries. An atlas of human anatomy is divided into the systems that make up the human body, then subdivided into the system’s component parts.

Atlas Of Human Anatomy

The skeleton is the support of the human body. There are about 206 bones in the adult human body, depending on the individual, and a good atlas of human anatomy will show almost all of them. These range from the tiniest bones in the skull like the lacrimal bones beneath the eyes, the incus, malleus and stapes in the ear, to the vertebral column and the ribs, the hipbone and sternum, the scapula bones of the shoulders, the femur, tibia and fibula bones of the legs, the radius, ulna and humerus bones in the arms and the phalanges, the bones of the hands.

Muscular System

The human muscular system allows the body to move. A good atlas of human anatomy will reveal about 639 muscles. These range from the big latissimus dorsii muscles in the back on either side of the spine, the biceps femoris muscles in the back of the thighs, the rectus femoris muscles in the front of the thighs, the trapezius muscles of the shoulders, the orbicularis oris muscle right above the lips and beneath the nose, the nasalis muscle in the nose, the platysma muscle in the jaw and top of the throat and down to the lumbrical muscles at the base of the fingers and the extensor digitorum brevis muscle at the top of the foot.

Circulatory System

The circulatory system transports blood and other fluids and nutrients around the body. This system comprises the heart and the blood vessels. Some vessels are tiny. like ones in the eyes. Major vessels would include the aorta, which is the body’s largest artery which begins in the heart and continues down the center the body, where it bifurcates just above the pelvic region. Other vessels are the internal jugular vein in the neck, the common carotid artery, also found in the neck, the fibular artery in the legs, the dorsal venous arch in the foot, and the superior vena cava, the large vein that originates above the heart.

Digestive System

The digestive system enables the body to utilize the food it takes in. A good atlas of human anatomy would show the organs of digestion, which begin in the head with the tongue, teeth, and the buccal cavity, where saliva is secreted and digestion begins. The atlas would go on to show the parts of the liver, the esophagus, the stomach. the gall bladder, the spleen, the pancreas, the large and small intestines and other organs necessary for digestion, in some detail.

Atlas Of Human Anatomy – Conclusion

Other systems, like the nervous, reproductive and respiratory systems, should be included for a good and useful atlas of human anatomy.
